Yes... I thought it was simple at first but quickly relized it was not.
I shut the firewall down.
I 'believe' it to be on vultrs end. I had a issue in the past about them
blocking my ports.
They just blanketed all my instances for one that did get out of my control.
And that kept me from getting email notices of things that were going
wrong on any/all the instances.
Making cpu usage go up, incrementally over time as things going out were
retying constantly backups between the servers and system messages to
boot....
It too was a test system. But I have a problem with the fact they shut
down the ports on all the instances without a message to me.
And that was from issue on just 1 instance that was a strictly asterisk
server.
Well, will put a ticket in after I verify that is indeed the issue.
But I can't get though on any port but 22.
But perhaps I do not fully understand this firewall set-up in debian.
Been using csf normally as of late.
Anyway, thank you for the efforts. Hate to have a botched test like this.
