I have my repeater on a dummy load and the RPI2 and my laptop all on a unmanaged switch for testing. On dmrlink.cfg My thought was to make the RPI2 running dmrlink the master and my repeater as the peer. Is this possible? I am unsure how I would do that. My guess is I would put the IP of the RPI2 in the dmrlink.cfg Steve, had mentioned get my repeater parroting on a tg. So I looked at playback.py I see tg ID for a group call is 12345 on ts2 and private is the same except ts 1 and 2. So if I set my radio up accordingly. I should parrot on those IDs. Actually, David was TELLING you the answer to your question but he was not sure how to do it specifically. We are here to help each other, please keep it civil. Now, as far as the question, Steve gave you the quick answer. The longer one is: All of the information you need to know about setting up DMRLink is in the readme files that come with the code. However, like us it did take some experimentation to get it right. That is expected. However, when we had a question about how something worked or if an error was generated we most often looked at the code to determine what was wrong with our configuration files. I strongly advise you to look at the code as well. There is no better and more authoritative answer than the implementation. Enjoy Python, it is a cool language. So I looked thru dmrlink.cfg Looking at the sample peer and sample master. If I want to designate the RPI2 as the master I should be able to use 127.0.0.1 then assign my repeater ip as the peer.
