Could we satisfy the requirement to have Zap channel present in the hub machine if a T100P (single port T1) card is already present? Could we use a single DS0 on the T1 for app_rpt?

This is something we have been discussing . App_rpt requires at least one zap channel to terminate into per node. Allthough this has not been tested yet, one thing you might want to try is putting a X100P FXO card in the hub machine and telling rpt.conf to use the channel on the FXO card.
