The web transceiver is problematic due to Java security settings. You can downgrade the security of Java on your PC and get it to work, but then that opens up a whole pile of other issues if you hit a website that has badly written Java or vulnerabilities that can be exploited by such a downgrade. Another alternative (not the best) is Echolink, if the repeater you are trying to connect to has enabled that in their Allstar installation. Bryan WB0YLE/W2FUV
