Gary, See if your version supports "rpt reload" from the asterisk command line. If it does, you can change the unlinked courtesy tone ct1 in rpt.conf then execute rpt reload on the command line, and when you key the radio, the new courtesy tone will be played on unkey. For morse, "rpt reload" does not reload the parameters from the config file. Asterisk must be restarted for morse changes to take place. This appears to be a bug which needs to be fixed in app_rpt.c If the asterisk comand line doesn't understand "rpt reload", this means you are running an older version of app_rpt.c without reload support. Try restaring asterisk after making the changes to rpt.conf. Steve. On Saturday 07 October 2006 18:49, Gary Young wrote:
How does one change the Id'er frequency and make a custom Courtesy Tone?
Changing the settings in rpt.conf doesn't appear to do anything.
