Special shout out to Steve N4IRS he did a great job moving us away from Acid.. As far as tuning and adjusting which node you want to be connected to that URI I might suggest if your not already to use radio-tune-menu Tab works if you get to radio- usually for auto complete... There you can adjust audio levels an swap URI with node numbers etc... Make sure you save before exiting the menu.. I am not sure if this works in Dial but in Acid days I remember modify the node number conf file that had been created via the radio-tune-menu up at the top of the file it use to point to the USB location I thought been awhile.. By chance are you new to Linux if so I did create some videos they are kinda long but they have been useful with others.. 73 Loren Tedford (KC9ZHV) Email: lorentedford@gmail.com Phone: Fax: http://www.lorentedford.com http://kc9zhv.com Sent from Droid Turbo from Verizon wireless network On Feb 11, 2017 8:01 AM, "Bruce B Isaacson" <ike@jmbruce.biz> wrote: Appreciate all the help! URI Diag works in DIAL. URIDiag has problem on the Pi. Works fine on a X86. Chasing that down was not up very high on anyone's list. I've chased URI and URIx issues, and the likelihood of it being the problem is slim to none. On the other hand, Bryan's suggestions are worth the time chasing :-) Thanks, Bob k6ecm 73 Sent from iPad

Hi Bryan, There is a deeper problem than Asterisk. The program I am using is a stand-alone program designed to test DMK URIx dongle. Based on the test there is a problem other than Asterisk or uridiag. As for usbradio... there is no audio as there is no audio in the uridiag program that is why I believe that it might be a driver. I have been trying to avoid reinstalling Dial or possibly doing a Virtual box install on another computer.
Thanks for your input.

What version of the asterisk/allstar are you using?
What does the device= line look like in your usbradio_tune_usbxxxx.conf look like?
Is rpt.conf pointing to the right usb device (should be the rxchannel= line, where usbxxxx in this line should be the same as the usbxxxx in the tune file name
