I do not have an android device to use. The mpow pa071a headset I have is specifically claimed by another post to this list to use the cmedia chipset and one of the buttons (I forget which) is supposed to work as ptt. Now how can I set this up to connect to allstar? Eric Af6ep Sent using SMTP.

It's much less effort to accomplish what you're trying to do using the DV Switch Android app.
Could use the same headset with a usb on the go adapter or a Bluetooth headset. This is a proven approach.
