Jim, I'm using MDC-1200 for macro switching with almost 100% accuracy, depending on what radio I'm using. I haven't done anything with the status codes yet, but wonder if your left-hand side pattern isn't matching. Once a macro is executed it doesn't "replay" unless you switch off of it, then back on. Anyone using MDC-1200 on their node? I just programmed up my HT1250 and gave it a radio ID of 8000, then setup the corresponding mdcmacro entries:
[mdcmacro] I8000=*70 S*-2=*70 S*-1=*81
I key up to test, and it seems to work as expected on the first run:
Got MDC-1200 (single-length) packet on node 2142: op: 01, arg: 00, UnitID: 8000 Got MDC-1200 data I8000 from local system (2142) MDCMacro for I8000 doing *70 on node 2142 [Apr 23 21:49:44] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2815 usbradio_read: rxcarrierdetect = 0, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:49:44] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2894 usbradio_read: o->rxkeyed = 0, chan Radio/usb chan_usbradio ACRK dev=usb code=(null) TX ON [Apr 23 21:49:44] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2688 usbradio_read: txPttIn = 1, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:49:44] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2705 usbradio_read: txPttOut = 1, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:49:44] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:3011 usbradio_read: dev=usb got b.txCtcssReady 0.0 -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'rpt/node' (language 'en') -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'digits/2' (language 'en') -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'digits/1' (language 'en') -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'digits/4' (language 'en') -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'digits/2' (language 'en') -- <Zap/pseudo-1716568020> Playing 'rpt/repeat_only' (language 'en') -- Hungup 'Zap/pseudo-1716568020' chan_usbradio ACRUK dev=usb TX OFF >> [Apr 23 21:49:51] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2694 usbradio_read: txPttIn = 0, chan Radio/usb -- Hungup 'Zap/pseudo-171990874' [Apr 23 21:49:51] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2705 usbradio_read: txPttOut = 0, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:49:51] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:3011 usbradio_read: dev=usb got b.txCtcssReady
I then key up again and it seems to decode the packet, but doesn't touch the macro again:
[Apr 23 21:50:02] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2815 usbradio_read: rxcarrierdetect = 1, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:50:02] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2886 usbradio_read: o->rxkeyed = 1, chan Radio/usb Got MDC-1200 (single-length) packet on node 2142: op: 01, arg: 00, UnitID: 8000 Got MDC-1200 data I8000 from local system (2142) [Apr 23 21:50:03] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2815 usbradio_read: rxcarrierdetect = 0, chan Radio/usb [Apr 23 21:50:03] NOTICE[21906]: chan_usbradio.c:2894 usbradio_read: o->rxkeyed = 0, chan Radio/usb intrepid*CLI>
I am also attempting to work on the MDC-1200 status stuff and set the entries above, the node sees the traffic, but doesn't actually do anything with it. What am i missing?
Thanks!
