Well- using a USB headset helps the issue a lot. I was enjoying a new BT earpiece but wow- suck-ola. I seem to recall some BT tweaks to improve performance but do not recall. Anyway- guess I will stick w wired/USB headset for now. Clifford

What are you using for a URI ?
How many usb devices ?
What are you listening on iaxrpt, radio, other node ?
You might also check codec settings for corruption in iax.conf

Haha! Ya man. I do have an image on my PC- I am prepared- but would only resort to using it if really necessary. Learn more solving the issue as long as the card is not corrupted.3
Issue now is stuttering audio really bad- even the telemetry coming right off the Pi locally over ethernet to iaxRpt on PC is choppy. Pi3 is 1-3% CPU- plenty of RAM free etc. Trying to sort that out now.
Thanks! Clifford

Every app_rpt install comes with a free gremlin !
Thought you knew that !
However, once you have it working correct, why not image your SD card and save it in the case it is going bad.

Get the password from the portal and make sure it's set in iax.conf with your register statement.
