David, First I will say I am not familiar with either device you are using, So take all of this with a grain of salt. I doubt you can take AF OUT and make a COR detect from it without extra hardware as a VOX circuit etc. To me, from your connection diagram, It looks like you need to do one of a few things. If you can get a valid PL from the radio and use that for your COR line. (use hard PL for COR) OR Use PL (as detected in apt_rpt) for COR - 'carrierfrom=dsp' Someone is likely to have a better answer but those are my thoughts. I recently connected a Micro-Node RTCM to an ICOM FR6000 UHF repeater. The FR5000/6000 has a DB25 auxiliary connector on the rear. Here is the sable pin-out I used. Maybe this helps someone else.

Programming FR6000. Configured for CTCSS on Receive, no CTCSS on transmit. Program Pin 21 I/O for Audible Out which is a signal indication when the receiver is unmuted by squelch/tone. Program Pin 19 I/O for EPTT - External PTT
