The only one that is global is the link tx tone. No reason you couldn't define the other ones. For example I have my unlinked courtesy tone on my public node ct=26 and the private one in the same box ct=31. The only one that is global is the link transmit tone. Corey

Courtesy tones are global. So, no way to have different stanzas for different nodes. At least, that's what I found a while back when I tried to have different stanzas. Maybe a newer SVN is out that I have not tested that allows it, I'm not sure.

specifically, at this time, I'm concerned about Courtesy tones. So, let's go down to the telemetry stanza for 29655...
[telemetry29655] ; ;when NOT linked ct2=|t(0,0,10,0)(350,440,10,2048)(0,0,10,0)(350,440,10,2048)(0,0,10,0)(350,440,10,2048)(0,0,10,0)(350,440,100,2048) ; ;when Linked ct3=|t(0,0,10,0)(880,440,150,2048)(0,0,10,0)(440,660,150,2048)(0,0,10,0)(880,440,150,2048)(0,0,10,0)(440,660,150,2048) ; ct4=|t(550,0,150,1048)(550,0,150,1048) ct5=|t(660,0,150,2048) ct6=|t(880,0,150,2048) ct7=|t(660,440,150,2048) ; When remote link unkeys ct8=|t(0,0,10,0)(350,440,50,2048)(0,0,50,0)(880,440,50,2048)(0,0,50,0)(350,440,50,2048) ; ct9=|t(660,680,100,4000)(0,0,100,0)(660,680,100,1000)(0,0,100,0)(660,680,100,250) remotetx=|t(500,0,10,1048)(0,0,10,0)(1000,0,10,1048) remotemon=|t(1009,0,50,2048) cmdmode=|icm ;(220,247,262,294,330,350,392,2048) functcomplete=|iEN patchup=rpt/callproceeding patchdown=rpt/callterminated ; ; ; This section allows wait times for telemetry events to be adjusted ; A section for wait times can be defined for every repeater ; [wait-times29655] telemwait=150 idwait=10 unkeywait=650 calltermwait=150
but, regardless of how I change the CT's, it remains the same, when asterisk is stopped and restarted, even when the machine is rebooted, the courtesy tone remains the same.
