Re: [App_rpt-users] App_rpt-users Digest, Vol 66, Issue 22
When talking from echolink to asterisk the audio appears to drop completely out enough to make the courtesy tone beep for linkunkeyct... On Thu, Aug 14, 2014 at 8:24 AM, <app_rpt-users-request@ohnosec.org> wrote:

Not sure what you mean by choppy, but if the input from the internet over drives the software gains, that could happen. Have you adjusted your Echolink gains in echolink.conf?
I had to adjust ours as follows because incoming and outgoing seemed to be over driven. At the suggestion of this list my first estimate was -6.0 and 0.0 respectively.
erxgain=-7.0 ;-3.0 default
etxgain=-1.0 ; 3.0 default

Anyone have any idea why audio from ECHOLINK comes in choppy i have tried to adjust everything i could think of.. I am using xipar.. I tried it on 2 different machines and both are choppy.. But audio form asterisk to echo link seems fine..
I see something above that says timeout rxlinger timer but don't know how to adjust that if that is even it
