I think you would be looking for the remote activity timer because as you said is someone keys up on radio side, the timer resets. One or more of these settings in rpt.conf might help. lnkactenable=0 <<<< I believe this would turn "inactivity timer" off. remote_inact_timeout=1800 <<<<<<<<<<< 30m I think remote_timeout=3600 lnkacttimerwarn=30 Double check those in the manual. On a DIAL AllStar node with EchoLink configured, an incoming Echolink user's transmit is interrupted after twenty seconds on every transmission. A local key-up resets the timer and the remote station's transmission resumes. At the time of disconnect I see this in the verbose asterisk console output every time:

We've been unable to locate the setting (if there is one) that would cause DAHDI to play rpt/timeout. Where should we be looking?
