Re: [App_rpt-users] Squelch trigger
Thanks Matt, I noticed the option in sourcecode. Regards, Bogdan
The feature you need is already built in to the system.
Look for "Rxondelay" in USBradio.conf
This will allow you to set the time during which the Rx COS is ignored, after the PTT is dropped.
I have used this in the past to stop two linked repeaters ping ponging.

Matt

Hello,
I'm using app_rpt to build a repeater system using COR and PTT signaling. The issue I'm having is that after each PTT off I got a COR enable from rig for a constant amount of time of 30ms which triggers another PTT on and so on. Therefore I'm looking for a solution to overcome this problem.
Specifically, what I need is an option that will trigger COR to app_rpt only when COR was active for an user specified period of time (say 50ms in my case).
Thanks and regards, Bogdan - YO3IIU

I wonder if it might be possible to add the equivalent of Rxondelay for VOX? I guess that is just a VOX delay - either way would work. I have one receiver that, although squelched, emits a slight 'pop' when the transmitter unkeys and that triggers the VOX and starts a continuous series of kerchunks. Rxondelay seems to have no effect on VOX operation (per the documentation that is correct). Ken
