We have an ACID build on one of our repeaters that has been crashing. It appears hda1 is full. I'm looking for suggestions to clean it up. It's often a large, festering one :-) (especially if you are running chan_echolink), since it never seems to re-claim old records (it just creates new ones). It's something called 'db1'. If you're not concerned about saving debug info, just delete the file. You may have to restart Asterisk to get it to "let loose" of the old file. astdb is small - 8k, but /var/log/asterisk/messages is 16G!... can I just delete it, and it will start over again. Otherwise, how do I shrink it down?

You might want to add in some automatic housekeeping using logrotate to keep the file from growing too large.
