I was wondering if anyone has found a good clean way to cause the voice ID to switch to a CW when someone keys up on a system operating in a repeater configuration. This is something most hardware controllers do and its a function I would like to try to implement. I figured I would ask here before trying to re-invent the wheel. Ideally, it would switch to a CW ID when a local station would key into the system and also when a remote connection would key up as well.
The idtalkover= line should do this. idtalkover=|ide KB5ELV/R -- Buddy Brannan, KB5ELV - Erie, PA Phone: 814-860-3194 Mobile: 814-431-0962 Email: buddy@brannan.name

Hm.. This is a function that works just fine for me and I never had to set it up. The bug that I was told that there’s not a solution to is that if there's a keyup in progress and it comes time for the ID, it uses voice I'd instead of Morse. If the network transmission comes during the voice, it reverts to Morse. *From:* app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org [mailto: app_rpt-users-bounces@ohnosec.org]* On Behalf Of* Joe Moskalski *Sent:* Wednesday, August 17, 2016 12:48 PM *To:* app_rpt mailing list <App_rpt-users@ohnosec.org> *Subject:* [App_rpt-users] Switch to CW ID upon key up I was wondering if anyone has found a good clean way to cause the voice ID to switch to a CW when someone keys up on a system operating in a repeater configuration.
