wait a minute.. I just had a thought that maybe might help here (or not??):
Perhaps our concept of 'losing the internet connection' needs to be better defined/understood here...
Do you indeed mean that your cable modem (I am making that assumption based upon your cox.net email address)
re-establishes its connection with the ISP network on the cable?? If so, then its likely obtaining a different public
IP address when this occurs, and, if so, thats exactly what would be expected. How is the connection supposed to
'follow' IP address changes mid-stream??
Or maybe that isnt it at all...

I created a permalink using ilink,13 and I’m still having the same problem with disconnects. Anyone else have any ideas?
