Sending DTMF to remote device
I am trying to send DTMF codes to an SCOM controller via an AllStar link. I have enabled propagate_dtmf=yes on both sides, and I think the tones are reaching the remote node, but it is not been sent out on the remote end. I have seen references suggesting you this in command mode, but I want the remote node to ignore the tones, and output it to the SCOM instead, so this doesn't seem appropriate. Without knowing all the exact particulars that would be important for giving help on this, I can only suggest, setting-up a new node at remote server just for your other controller. The set-up for that is quite a bit different from normal. You have to change the duplex mode and add linktolink=yes in rpt.conf so there is no repeater tail etc. Or, depending on your exact set-up, you might be able to use regenerate dtmf on output from macros if there are a limited number of command strings you use. just some ideas, ...mike/kb8jnm
