July 20th, 2024, from 7 AM EST to 7 PM EST Property management at our site will be performing maintenance on the building’s high-voltage electrical systems. As part of this maintenance, utility power to the building will be disconnected. TECO is performing medium voltage switch gear maintenance at our Tampa location tomorrow. We should expect hamwan and all repeaters to be offline starting around 7am and back in the afternoon. If you're using HamWAN or needing the repeaters, expect them to be offline for the duration of this.

System Status / Hurricane Ian

As of 1900 EDT all FSG amateur repeaters are linked and functional. https://flscg.org/repeaters/ Analog are listed below and the downtown Tampa DMR on 443.1875 is working. Tampa: 224.280 146.2 PL 443.525 146.2 PL 902.050 546 DCS St Pete: 444.375 146.2 PL This still has interference from an uncoordinated DMR repeater in Largo. Unfortunately there is not much we can do. GMRS: Tampa 462.575 141.3 PL. Note this is experiencing severe interference on the input of 467.575. Please ensure you have the alternate input of 467.725 DCS 546 programed. I suspect there is a ship docked in the port. HamWAN is functional and working. Our webcam is running and streaming to YouTube. It's pointed southwest from Tampa but it may move. St Pete NXDN and P25/Analog back online

We fixed the power amp internal to it and added a 110W external PA. I did some PM's on the combining/duplexing and found it's still within a half dB of what we measured, so that's good. HamWAN Remote

We have a couple users on this now, and it's cool way to get HamWAN out at sites where you may have poor performance or no RF coverage. This will result in an extended outage from 0600-1900 on the 19th. We expect everything to come back online once power is restored. This will cause an outage to all repeaters in the Tampa location and our Hamwan. St Pete will be unaffected, however as the uplink to the internet is via Tampa, the HamWAN nodes will be isolated.

GMRS input is 467.725 100% of the time now
