List purpose

My idea with this list was to put together an open forum where members and other interested parties can discuss the coordination process and management issues of the FRC. Currently we only have this opportunity to discuss issues two to three times a year at members meetings. In other organizations I've been a member of, having open discussion has enabled better corporate governance and development of new initiatives. Secrecy is bad for an organization such as the FRC, and it's been standard operating procedure for years. I've experienced quite a few problems with the FRC here in Tampa Bay and have heard from others who have experienced the same problems around the state. Even if you have never experienced an issue with the FRC, as a FRC member it should be shocking that the directors are handling issues so poorly. What is this lists' purpose

Maybe I missed it because I was concentrating on saving my family from Matthew, but how did I get on this list again, and what is it's purpose? I've got one repeater that I am the trustee and coordinator for. The FRC has always been respectful and helpful, and while maybe not always the quickest, I found that they would follow through with what the said they would do. I am glad someone has common sense and express my feelings too, this rough atacks between two individuals in Miami should be address by phone or personally face to face instead of using this group read by hundred of hams.Its a shame that things like this be happening. I threw up a site at http://tools.byronservers.com/sites/, which queries the same mysql database dump from the recent Reddit posting (the latter of which isn't my handywork, I'm just a fan of mysql thanks). It's not displaying the contact info, coordination status or lat/long coordinates of sites, but does have breakdowns by band type, output freq, callsign, district/city/county names. I've found it more useful than the assortment of stale PDF files from the actual (or is it former now?) FRC site. Gentlemen & Ladies, Please postpone the FRC discussion for a few days. My inbox is getting flooded with emails and we have Hurricane Matthew headed toward Florida. Although on the west coast, we are still expecting moderate to heavy winds and rain. I have to wade through 20 to 50 emails to find the ones from our EOC/EM and our ECs. Please take into consideration our needs now (in REAL TIME), and get back to the FRC issue AFTER the physical weather clears and our residents are safe. Check your repeaters and make sure they're working - hopefully, we won't need ARES or RACES, but if we do, we have to be ready. Keep the airways open and the email "airways" open for important or emergency traffic.
