Hello all My Node 40248 is connected but does not appear in the Allstar Connected Nodes List (http://stats.allstarlink.org/) ? Are there issues at the moment ? 73s Rachid 3B8FP Node 40248

This was causing "no longer in database" or missing data when viewing some nodes. We're moving some of the AllStar infrastructure to new locations. Autopatch no longer working

Have voipms as autopatch provider and now get the following error in CLI. New to allstar and would like to learn about "remote base" operation

I currently have all the “makings” for a 6 meter base station; an almost (new old stock) GE Master II 40 watt mobile, 2 channel 52.525 and a local repeater. a short cable that would go to the control head ( no control head) a nice 20 amp power supply and any number of raspberry pi’s. my “original” plan was to connect the pi’s together via the internet, and put the remote base at a friends house, but he moved. I was told that I was trying to "re-invent the wheel and that putting up an alstar node would be easier … the first two questions, can one build there own radio interface ? and along those lines is there anything in the software to allow changing channels ( only two channels ) Thanks, Don, K8ZGW Twinsburg Ohio

The Pi is power supply is now 5.3v at the Pi, and the error is still there. Audio very garbled, and the URI LED has a weird winking double flash. Only a reboot cures it.

Thank you Brian G and Tony. I was using a 12v-5v module, with an output of 4.9v. I ordered the suggested buck converters, and will up the voltage to 5.3 volts as mentioned. I recently realized just how critical the Pi 5v supply actually is.

Odd Error

I'm testing ASL on my 42690 repeater using a Pi2 with a high speed sd card, and need help resolving an error. It works for a day or two, then seems have a sync problem with the URI. The audio becomes very garbled, and the green LED on the URI has an odd double flash/dim sequence. Only a reboot restores it to normal. A hint is the ' messages ' log, with continuous errors of ' dahdi: Detected time shift '. Not sure where else to look.

Pi4 Buster eerors

What I have found is several dependencies for asl-asterisk are missing. I was able to install everything but libcurl3 there is probably a dependency that asl-asterisk needs that uses libcurl3. I think we might have to add a symbolic link from libcurl3 to libcurl7.* Or dig deeper into the asterisk code and compile it for libcurl7.* Or maybe the code geniuses can whip up a not so quick fix Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android

Installing ASL to a Raspbian 10 "Buster" OS

Hi all, Have someone on the group successfully installed ASL_1.01 on a Raspbian 10 OS? After a "Buster" initial install I have tried to use this set of instructions published on the ASL FAQ but always get a ASL missing dependencies message. Can ASL be installed on an existing Linux install, for example on a VM running Debian? Yes it can. More information to follow. But if you have no other option you could do this: cd /tmp wget http://dvswitch.org/install-allstarlink-repository chmod x install-allstarlink-repository ./install-allstarlink-repository If Raspbian: apt-get install raspberrypi-kernel-headers -y Otherwise: apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` -y apt-get update apt-get install allstarlink -y Any help or tutorial will be greatly appreciated.
