Registration issues

My nodes 27365 and 27751 both on same server is showing on the status page but not showing in the rpt_extnodes on other nodes im using standard port 4569. we have been seeing this with several nodes in our group over past month or so of coarse if we define in the rpt file we can connect but would be nice if it was registering. sometimes it may show up in a few hours or a day generally a reboot and its gone again Thanks for any help in advance 73 Randy KB3HJC

limey compile "miniperl" error

In compiling Limey you encounter an error about miniperl. There's a patch/fix: I just edited microperl.mk and added the line with the + at the beginning(without the +) It is compiling right now, got all the way through buildroot. Its now doing the kernel compile. Too bed the ziapr software didn't recognize them, blobbed or not, they could still be used for remote receivers on the ziapr software voter. You only use the mic jack and ground... This is the SSS1623 chip from 3S. It is compatible with the CM108, but the software must recognise it of course. It will also work for PTT because it supports the same HID commands to drive the GPIO pins, but in your case the pins are not accessible due to the epoxy blob. For anyone that *does* have a packaged SSS1623, there are two GPIOs available. GPIO0 is on pin 27 and GPIO1 is pin 28. Thin client hardware

Has anyone looked at/experimented with/thought about using thin client hardware such as the line of HP boxen as a basis for a simple (ie 1 or 2 radio) node? I'm thinking that, with a CF image plugged in, you can use 800meg-1ghz processors, a couple of USB ports, 10/100 network connection machines that are in the 50-60 dollar range for used equipment, that also run on 12v (the HP that I had from a couple of companies ago had a 12v brick to power it...the gypsy life of an IT security guy, right?) Just wondering. Thinking of gin'ning up a mobile repeater for whatever reason (because I can?), and, to me, 50 or 60 bucks for a processor fits right in with my "hams are notoriously cheap" theory. problems installing the OS

It starts to boot and then goes to blue screen.. Will this all-star link run on UBUNTU instead.. That seams to install fine on my computer.
