Help Connecting To Echolink Nodes

Good Day, My apologies if this topic has been covered before. I am a newbie to Allstar and learning everyday. I am running the Crompton RPi2-3 V1.02beta version on a RPi-3 and have successfully enabled Echolink. I can receive calls to my node from other Elcholink Nodes and can successfully connect to the Echolink test node by entering *33009999 and getting repeated audio back, so port forwarding must be correct. That being said, I cannot connect to any other Echolink node even making sure to add 3 and and leading 0's to make up a 7 digit Echolink node number. Hi guys, I have 2 RPI 3 servers running the latest N4IRS release. I have a private node on each server. RPI3 #1 is 10.0.0.200 NODE 1000:4568 RPI3 #2 is 10.0.0.201 NODE 1001:4569 Neither node can connect to the other. I did not uncomment node register line in iax.conf for either server and also in rpt,conf I did not uncomment the status report lines I just simply want these two servers to talk to each other on the same lan The nodes in both of these servers are HUBS. in rpt.conf under the [nodes] stanza you'd want somthing like this 1234 = radio@10.0.0.x:4569/1234,NONE 1235 = radio@10.0.0.x:4569/1235,NONE That would be the IP and node number of the remote node(s) You'd also want to comment out the register stuff in iax.conf so private nodes don't try to register with the public allstar server. New install does not ask for network settings

All, Reinstalling after a HDD crash, ACID (centos5) downloaded off the website (burnt to DVD). The original install went without a hitch about a year ago, however now it is not asking me for the network settings. As a result, I cannot download the phase2.sh script. I'm a noob to Linux, your help is appreciated. Thanks! Greetings I have found an issue today on a pure dial install out in a Data Center environment where service asterisk stop and service asterisk start did not work.. Anyone else having these issues with Dial? I know some people dont like that. but on a remote site where energy and antenna deployement difficult and for place where installing multiple repeater is price prohibitive, this is a nice solution. No mode is left aside. but only one can be used at once. So in order to make this work I need to know how the cop 2 and 3 command works. I want to use the event manager to send those 2 command when one input from my URI is switching state. this will be connected to the MMDVM and it will prevent the tx or false rx when the DVMDM is taking control of the repeater. WHat happen to any audio received by the network when in disable mode? IS it still present at the URI? Does the link that are present stay connected or they disconnect? I need this so that I can figure out if it is more effective to use a pair of small relay to cut the audio lines and ptt lines when the MMDVM is active or doing it by software. thanks Pierre VE2PF
