Node Registration Failure

Hi, One of my nodes (2482) sits behind an ADSL connection with a dynamic IP address (changes any time the router is re-started etc). For a while, all was well, and it appeared on the status pages on the website. Following a few network upsets (i.e. renewed IP addresses)- but no configuration changes - the node no longer appears in the list. I modified the "statpost_program" line in rpt.conf to direct output to a file, rather than /dev/null. The resulting file contains this one-liner: Error! Not Authorized from IP 80.65.243.181 The IP given is the correct public IP that my ADSL router currently has assigned to it. As far as I can tell, the "register" entry in iax.conf is correct - I certainly never changed it after it was initially working. Any Ideas?? Thanks David Osborn - GD4HOZ

Control States

I noticed control states in rpt.conf today. Looks cool. Compiling on Limey Linux

I'm attempting to install sox on my Limey box. When running ./ configure I get: configure: error: in `/root/sox-14.3.0': configure: error: C preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check I got a similar message when attempting to compile Asterisk. There is supposed to be a development environment on Limey, correct? Any ideas what's up here? -- Tim :wq

How to update Allstar registration info (also find iaxRpt client)

Hi, I just got my Allstar simplex node working here in Phoenix (yaaah!) and need to update some missing and incorrect information on my registration entry (e.g. simplex frequency, PL, and echolink id). I saw in the archives someone else asked this question but didn't get an answer and couldn't find a way to do it on the website (I was logged in). Is there an online mechanism? Also, have googled and googled but can't find a site to download iaxRpt client. The xelatech website has been down for quite some time and I would like to do some testing of my node using more than just the Echolink client. Thanks in advance! Keith, KF7DRV
