Asterisk suddenly failing

Today i had no idea but asterisk had stopped here is some sample error messages that i found that could be useful.. Rasp-Pi !! img

I have downloaded the Rasp-Pi 2 img. it installed 4 times just fine.however, I can not connect it to anything there seems to be nothingin asterisk -R once in the CLI prompt doing a ? mark products nothingno menu at all. has something changed to connect a node from the CLI command prompt? 73 Russ WL7LP Alaska Morning Net - Net Manager IRLP node 7369

This issue has been resolved. It turned out to be a SIP DOS attack to the other node. I'm not sure why he was able to connect to nodes besides mine. I have noticed multiple app_rpt boxes that have SIP enabled being attacked by Amsterdam IPs. 188.138.74.76 and 188.138.74.90 are two that come to mind. We've reported the abuse to the ISP (RIPE), but I'm not holding my breath.. 73 --- Original Message --- Kyle, Does the other node have a problem connecting to nodes other then yours? Asterisk DIAL error message

Hi all, I recently converted one of my boxes from ACID to DIAL, and have run into this issue... When a particular node tries to connect to me (or vice-versa), I hear a 'connection failed' message, and see the following in my logs: (note I've replaced the actual IP with IP ADDRESS: chan_iax2.c: Address [IP ADDRESS] failed CallToken hash inspection I did make sure that the node's IP in rpt_extnodes matches the IP of the remote node. New AllStar install using DIAL - help needed

Hello AllStar users - I'm having poor luck getting an AllStar node on the air. I have a registration number, server and node set up on the web site, and have tried ACID, DIAL, and now DIAL for RPi. I'm using a DMK Engineering URI USB interface cable and a Motorola mobile UHF radio that was working fine with IRLP and Echolink. The problem I'm having with DIAL is that there are no configuration scripts that line up with the documentation that people have written for setting up a new AllStar node. I have what I think are a correctly setup set of asterisk scripts but my node will not show up on the http://stats.allstarlink.org/ on-line nodes page. My node # is 42372. I'm in the CET time zone here in northern Switzerland - is there anyone who would be willing to kill an hour or two with me over Skype to troubleshoot the issue? I have two computers that I could use - one is a fanless brick based on an intel mobile processor and the other is an RPi 2 - I don't really care which one we get going. I have some experience with IRLP and Echolink and have written some custom batch scripts to enhance the nodes so no my way somewhat around Linux. Thanks 73 Larry HB9EYQ

Got this here for the last 5 years or so, got it to play a bit with usb stuff.. Now that the playing is done I would like to know if it could be of some uses. here is the link to what I am talking about: https://www.velleman.eu/products/view/?id=351346 this could be usefull in case we need to reset something remotely while we are connected in ssh to the allstar machine.. or we could automate the rebooting of a router if we loose some connectivity? I for one would put one out put on my msf5000 reset switch.. that way I would not have to go to the repeater site every 5 or 6 months to reste it cause the rx vco is unlocked for no damn reason..

I am in all honesty no expert with linux, still learning I got as far as logging into ssh & am now lost how to setup dial I've received 2 email responses which have left my head spinning any help is greatly appreciated
