Hello, I downloaded the updated app_rpt and chan_usbradio today, so that I can try out the new parallel port feature. I believe I've got everything recompiled, etc, but so far the commands aren't working for me. How can I make sure that I correctly upgraded? Thanks for any help. 73. Kyle K0KN

Hi all, I just found this project and it looks very interesting! I have read about simular projects, but since I have used Asterisk myself this is good. I have two questions. First, what interface is needed to connect the controller to the radio? And at last, does it support CTCS? Many thanks, Christian

Asterisk -r

At the shell prompt asterisk -r I get connected to Asterisk currently running on groves1(pid=2496) Is 2496 supposed to be my node# ? If so, this is wrong and how do I change it? Also after trying several different commands such as /dev/ttys0, /dev/ttys1 , /ect /asterisk/usbradio.conf I get permission denied. Darril/WD5GJP

That's an install script and its not meant to be used for upgrading. The new SVN version (sans IRLP) is now available from the SVN. I would appreciate it if at least a few people would download it and try it out to make sure I didnt break anything while 'gutting'. Thanks. JIM WB6NIL

In usbradio.conf use the following for narrow band systems. This makes the noise filtering and DSP more compliant with narrow band operation. rxnoisefiltype=2 ; for narrow band +/-2.5 KHz channels Mark, KD6WLY
