Disconnect problems

We are running the latest build and having problems. The pc it is installed on randomly disconnects when there is activity. Here is the error message- also this is at 2 different locations and 2 different ISP's (dsl and cable). [Apr 27 07:52:10] WARNING[8322]: channel.c:2590 ast_prod: Prodding channel 'Zap/pseudo-1132525179' failed -- Hungup 'Zap/pseudo-1132525179' hub*CLI> Disconnected from Asterisk server any ideas? There would be others reporting this if it were the case. That "prodding ... zap ... failed" error message normal. Turn on verbosity and debugging from the Asterisk CLI and see what gets printed using the following: core set verbose 7 rpt debug level 6 Or use tcpdump or wireshark to look at what is being sent on eth0 during a disconnect. is system status down?

reason for lockup

asterisk would load up to iax2 then hang and consume >90% cpu and be stuck. commenting out iax2 would allow to continue but without network capability. the astdb file was the culpret, way too big. flushed, and now asterisk working fine.... stuck loading asterisk

I have seen this before, jog my memory please... Asterisk loads part way and gets stuck in the loading of chan_iax2.so. If i noload iax2 everything works. asterisk process is hung, can't ctrl-c, consumes 100% cpu can kill -9 asterisk. All I did was reboot to try out a new kernel. I did recompile zaptel and modules loaded. rebooting into old kernel has same result. internet connectivity is fine, dns is fine. Using a Davis Weather Monitor With Asterisk

Hi All, In looking at the rpt.conf file I noticed some lines that refer to Wind speed and Temperature. and the Data Ackquisition I have a Davis weather station with serial output, that was connected to a cat250 and would like to use it with asterisk system and be able to access wind speed, direction and outside temperature with a DTMF command. Has anybody done this? and what is the steps? Thanks, Brian N5TZV
