I still have my health after a couple scares a few years back. My grandkids look at me with wide eyes of amazement sometimes. And my eyes opened this morning on a new day. All things to be thankful for, as well as the camaraderie of this (and other) groups. And, I'll echo the comments of some...go to the allstarlink.org home page and press the "DONATE" button, ok? Spread some cheer, and show some appreciation for the guy who keeps the backbone of this thing going. Just do it. You know you want to. registration problems in the online list?

Are there problems in the registration of nodes on the website in stats.allstar.org? I can connect to one of my nodes; if I do a getstatus.cgi?node# I see its connection...but go into nodeinfo.cgi?node# and I get an NA for two of the nodes which are connected to it? For instance, 28254...moved from one hub to another in my nat'd lan hub a is port 4569, hub b is 4570). I can connect to either or both nat'd hubs, or even, from 28254, to external systems. But, it never shows up in the stats page. It's not private, and I'm not getting any registration errors. Since I moved 28254 from A to B...is there somewhere in the allstar site that I have to tell it that its port has changed since the system is now on a system on 4570 vice 4569? IIRC, there was somewhere to change it, but I'm stumped...nothing new for me with the burgeoning Christmas holiday fast approaching...but...any insight? I can control the nodes ok with allmon and my own scripts...seems to be working and lights are blinken (and dasher and donner and blitzen). Just wondering...probably missed something... BB

Got the pulls, but something still isn't right with my interface. Troubleshooting ongoing. I've walked away from this project several times. Just hoping for inspiration instead of perspiration. Anyone connecting an IRLP card though a Quad Card? Yes, I understand the potential IRLP concerns. I'm having difficulty with how the two boards should be connected. PTT to COS, COS to PTT, RCVR to XMTR? John

Hey gang. I've only gained the interest in raspberry pi since I've finally been able to get one recently. I know I've seen threads fly thru the group here but just wanted to know if there was an allstar specific distro developed and released for the pi. Thanks Harold Sent from a smartphone. Launching 1st and 2nd Sites

We already have site 1 running a MSF 5000 and site 2 is being prepped for another MSF 5000. Before deciding to invest in Allstar we tried wiring in a RC210 controller in exactly the spots a Zetron 39 was, pin for pin. We got a ringing sound, as if two audio paths. This did not exist when using the Zetron and is perplexing. Any suggestions on a Motorola MSF 5000 and the RTCM? One annoyance of the MSF is that without a controller they have no courtesy tone and we live from one kerchunk to another. We intend to run our own server. I own a web hosting company and have access to Internet grade bandwidth. Aside from the server and a RTCM for each server is there anything else that we will need to buy? Our current setup has an Arcom RC-210 with a phone patch. As an ECOMM repeater we don't want to lose the phone patch. Knowing that Asterisks is a PBX platform can we just install a line card? I already have a POTS line at my dada center. Thanks in advance for your advice. Bob

Newbie Setup Continues: Now Showing K7AZ LOGIN:

Okay, I made the system config changes and then added port forward for 222. Could not find where to set the IP address other than the DNS/Router. I believe it still has DHCP. I thought it was hung up on Starting SendMail but it now shows K7AZ LOGIN: URIx Green Light is no longer blinking. Is there a ³Normal Centos² command list specific to AllStar? Thanks, K7AZ
