Problems with portal-downloaded configs

There have been a couple of reports regarding failures in downloading Allstar-generated server/node configurations. I attempted to re-produce a couple of these, and they seemed to work just fine. If someone is still having these problems, please send me an ACTUAL CURRENT example of one that is 'broken'. Thanks, Jim WB6NIL

QUAD PCI Radio Card Configuration

I have a quad pci radio card, but am unable to get app_rpt to recognize it and not crash asterisk. Can someone point me to some detailed configuration that already has all 4 ports configured? I have already looked at /usr/src/astsrc/config/pciradio it hasn't got me anywhere. Regards, Chris Andrist, KC7WSU

finally got the audio yaesu we receive seems to change usb dsp was decisive but now consiguimos the receiver to listen Radio DMTF there any parameter by which to see any possible change to make them work properly DMTF thanks for the help and support

source of USB CM108 FOBs - CHEAP

I bought some CM108 fobs on EBAY for $0.99 each. He has a s***load of them. Not knowing if they’d be real CM108 I waited till I got them to send this note. The USB ID is 08dc:000c the real thing. The last four nodes I built up use D945 motherboards which have parallel ports, which I use for COS/PTT and the USB fob only does audio. No need to modify them for PTT and COS, etc. Anyhow, the EBAY auction is 300503465055 OR click this link Seller’s store is circle607. They’re in Hong Kong. But the postage was under $1.20 for all ten. I stocked up simply because they work so well, cost so little, and not sure when they will stop being available. (hoarding 101) GeorgeC W2DB Allstar 2360

Hello Andrew, In case George doesn't have anything written up for parallel port operation: http://www.qsl.net/k0kn/plri.html There are several circuits detailed here, from the simplest discrete transistor type, to a transistor IC type that can support multiple radios. You can also use an off-the-shelf IRLP board, should you have one laying around. The DTMF decoder is not supported by Asterisk (Asterisk uses DSP techniques to decode DTMF), so I dropped the MT8870 from my schematics. At it's simplest, all you'd really need is one NPN transistor for PTT (active high from parallel port, active low to activate PTT), and one PNP transistor for COS (if active high from radio). If your radio uses active low COS, I'd buffer with two transistors (PNP to NPN), rather than directly connecting the radio to the PC.
