Question about version 1.01, I have one here that automatically rewrites the configuration files, ssh port keeps resetting to default, for.conf keeps reverting to a copy that has errors in it, manager.conf keeps getting replaced... What function or script do I need to shutoff to keep it from overwriting the config files with what appears to be a backup copy... Thanks Bryan Vo1mxz

RE RPI3 B+ SETUP

?/Its been a while since I setup an node on rpi. Noe I'm trying to setup on rpi 3b+ with the latest image. (ASL_1.01-20180228) I burned a sd card but the Rpi doesnt seem to connect to the router so can ssh in to it. Hooked up a monitor and managed to get as far as to change password. now what? Is there a new manual to node set up and if so where is it located? Cant seem to find any instructions. The old image I used for rpi 2s seemed to work right out of the gate. We don't really know what the issue was. As Dave said, he compared his .conf files to mine and we made some changes but there was no 'smoking gun'. Bottom line is, it works now. I quit questioning magic computer fixes 25 years ago. New cable modem and router.

The internet host of one of our repeaters updated to the “full service” Mediacom cable modem and router. The old router has saved us well for AllstarLink, EchoLink, SSH, and iaxrpt, with no issues. We have not had much success with the new system and port forwarding. Does anyone on the list have experience with the new Mediacom equipment that can provide first hand experience?
