I am going to reference http://ohnosec.org/drupal/node/96 for this question. I have 3 nodes configured on a server, 2 via pciradio and 1 with a voter, all permalinked. This is using the DIAL distro. I want the local nodes CT to be the same no matter the node keyed, i.e. local nodes should not count as remote for the purposes of the CT, and if node 1 one keys up, node 2 and 3 will have the same tone that node 1 does. This is the config for each node: nounkeyct=0 unlinkedct=ct91 remotect=ct3 linkunkeyct=ct8 nolocallinkct=1 Based on this, when no external nodes are connected, any node keying up any other node or locally should use ct91. As of now this does not work. ct91 only plays on the keyed node, the other local nodes do not have a tone. When a remote node links in, the local CT changes to ct3, but still doesn't play from the other local nodes. I'm thinking this is wrong based on the docs? maybe it needs goto treataslocal; before the break? I've not tried it yet, but it would appear it needs to be treated as a local node CT? Loren, You can't have a ct8 and a ct88. As soon as it gets the first 8 it will ignore the second 8 so change all to double digit and that should fix it.... I am sorry for my previous incorrect apparent incorrect statement about the nodesetup script.. Apparently for some reason yesterday after working with both systems I was unable to get the nodesetup script to work.. Today the scripts worked.. Not sure if it was network related or not.. However I can tell you from two seperate Internet Service providers I ran this script with failure along with a fresh install in a VM which later this afternoon was able to pull my config files.... Officially here is what works.. with the nodesetup script.. If your on a pure Dial installation this script should work if it doesn't make sure you check resolv.conf and /etc/network/intefaces to ensure that the settings appear to be correct.. I am not sure as to what caused my 12 hr frustration with downloading the proper config files yesterday while using Dial.. however today the script for some reason worked.. Ubuntu 14.04LTS nodesetup now no longer works no matter what.. What you have to do is download the scripts in dial then copy the /etc/asterisk/ folder into the Ubuntu machine in the same location.. Really easy plug and play.. I know I have hurt some feelings out their so I am sorry please forgive my earlier post.. So, you could let Debian download the files you want and then copy them to Ubuntu. Or you could modify the script to work with Ubuntu. The error message is you pointer where to look. So, I'm guessing you are having a problem with Ubuntu. That explains the question on the AllStar list " Just wanting to know when we will have the nodesetup script working again.." I think the script runs on Debian.
