Anyone try setting this up yet? Used to use this with ACID just fine Installed ezstream, and Lame - shows it's running 1124 ? Old/Incompatible Hardware??

In an effort to learn more about Asterisk/Allstar/App_rpt I built up a server out of some older hardware I had sitting around. I set up the package put together by Steve (N4IRS) located at: <https://github.com/N4IRS/AllStar/wiki/X86-Debian-Bare-Metal-Install> <https://github.com/N4IRS/AllStar/wiki/X86-Debian-Bare-Metal-Install> The install was pretty much hands off and nothing to indicate any problems. I edited the necessary files and have it up and running on my home network as a private node for testing. I have it setup using dahdi/pseudo at the moment until I get a USB Fob converted. I can connect to it with IAXRPT and Zoiper on an iPhone but that's where everything goes spiraling downward. As soon as either connects, asterisk plays the connect message, or at least tries to. It usually gets the words "Node, One, Five" out Ok but anything else starts to lag and stutter. Once it is through, it seems to settle down for a minute. When I transmit from either, audio is not passed to the other connected device. Sometimes, the courtesy tone will try to play. About 30 seconds after Tx'ing with Zoiper, it will throw up an error 18 (Request Timeout) and disconnect. The PC is a Pentium IV 2.4GHz with 3 GB of RAM. The Motherboard is a fairly old though. It is an early P4. The Motherboard is a Soyo sy-p4vda. Local LAN is 100 Mbps on a Cisco switch and all devices are on the same subnet. Steve, Be aware that those transmitters are dirty. There is a note about a module using the same RF circuit on Doug's HAMVIOP site. He suggests a filter. Audio detection circuit to generate 'COR'

DIAL - questions

First off, great work on the new DIAL to replace ACID... A couple issues I have been having, one after a reboot of the computer - rare I know but always good to test, the transmitter keys up for some odd reason, in duplex=2 Second issue, /var/lib/asterisk/rpt_extnodes does not show my node 28344... I have it setup on port 4570 and fwd setup correctly - manually setup in rpt.conf the IP/port to my other test server on ACID - and can connect, but can't connect to/from any other nodes. anyone have an idea what could be going on here? Why does it key up til the timeout time runs out and why is my node not showing up in the rpt_extnodes? Also is usbradio still supported? Does simpleusb have new features? We have released a new version of the Android IAX Client for AllStar. This is still a beta test version. Open to all. There will be bugs. Please report bugs and suggest features, changes. Work is continuing on audio routing to headphone jack and blue tooth. More changes to macros and account screen to come. Version 1.9 There are now 10 account slots. You can auto load the node number from the slot. Supports 16 digit keys Transmit audio is muted when PTT not asserted for use with VOX configurations. Added Codec, sample rate, RX and TX bytes to status screen. Added hard coded (for now) macros.
