RTCM (Eth Rx) error

trying to figure out the ratio of item #7 TX buffer length to buflen= in the voter.conf I get this error Inbound (Eth Rx) packet out of bounds by: -320 which one is out by -320 the one one in the RTCM A(tx buffer length) or the in the voter.conf file??? voter buflen=300 Item#7 = 900 both on same 100/1000 LAN If I lower item #7 to 580 the error goes away but 580 is too small is their a ratio between the two?? connection issue

I have a node that will worl for 1 tx cycle and then the URIx green lite stops flashing and I get a usb error I have tried two different computers and with the same problem if I restart asterisk it will work for one TX cycle only then the URIx will drop out again and not work ???any ideas?? I'm at my wits end. I tried to set up a simplex node using a gm300, URIx and homemade interface cable as per DMK's website. I have been trying to figure out why my node will only receive audio from the internet. It will also only accept commands from keyboard. The audio from the internet is passed to the node radio and red light on uri and radio light up. If I transmit from my HT the node radio keys up and transmits rf but audio doesn't seem to reach the node, red light on the URI doesn't light up. I keep thinking it's the cable I made for the radio but it all checks good. I looked over some files but don't have the experience to see the problem, I'm not sure it's even a programming issue, maybe hardware, or I just set it up all wrong. Allstarlink.org - Can't create new server

I am unable to create a new server at Allstarlink.org. Go through the steps, but it clears all info following "submit." I've tried both IE (ver 10) and Firefox.

RTCM audio level setup

I'm in the process of setting up my audio levels for my first RTCM based node. I have setup the TX audio for 3khz of deviation using the built in test tone on the RTCM controller (diagnostics menu). When I do *989 to have asterisk generate the level, I have about 1.3 khz of deviation. The transmit audio calibration procedure is not in the manual from what I can find. Is there a way to get just the RTCM to keyup without the 1kc tone, and just the PL level? I need to get a proper setting for that. Have I got something wrong in doing this? RTCM & Allstar

Hello Everyone, Looking to have my allstar node and controller at a remote location to the primary tx/rx site - wondering how it could be done with one or two RTCM's. Basically looking to replace the cable between the repeater and controller with the internet... as the sites are a number of miles apart and no clear line of site exists. If that would work with the two, or would it be better just to have one RTCM, and set it up as a voted site on allstar... eventually I may add other sites to vote from... not sure what the best option would be... Any thoughts/ideas recommendations for the use of the RTCM(s) or any better ideas considering I would not have good LOS... Thanks, Mark KC7DMF

When I put my two nodes located on a single server into iaxrpt, and separately connect to each, both activate the first node URI trasmit LED when I "TRANSMIT" from either in iaxrpt; the node under [radio-secure-proxy]. I have both nodes "register="ed in iax.conf under [general] and as "exten => " under [radio-secure]. [radio-secure-proxy], and "exten =*" under [radio-gui] in extensions.conf. Best IAX radio client for Android

Hello all, I am going to probably be taking an Android tablet to Expedition this year, where we use our app_rpt equipment under harsh real life conditions, and this year we have access to a RTCM. This is in direct response to my Macbook having a broken WiNE implementation with OS X 10.8, which was quite embarrassing last year (thanks Apple!). The Android tablet has an e-Ink screen, and is alleged to not be able to run all Android apps (I couldn't imagine playing Angry Birds on it) but banter aside, what is a good IAX2 client program that'll interface to our Beagleboard with PTT over our wifi/ ethernet network and work where my Mac failed? I have seen some discussion concerning iPads in the past, but not being a fan of iDevices, I never paid any notice. Of course, failing a proper client on the tablet, I could run up a Web Transceiver on my FitPC, which is back from warranty repairs, and power it from batteries at HQ. Static ip

Simply put. At the root prompt type setup Goto device configuration. Remove the asterisk in dhcp and assign your static info. Save and exit. Service network restart or reboot to reload.
