I ran into that years ago. There's only one stanza on a machine in rpt.conf for all nodes on that machine, as far as the CW ID is concerned. cw id with two nodes on server

I am running 2 nodes 1994 and 1996 on this server with programed as below cw Id is good on mode 1996 not good on 1994 if I change the node number [morse1996] to [morse1994] the problem reverses to the other node.Does this file need to be duplicated for both nodes? ; Morse code parameters, these are common to all repeaters. ; [morse1996] speed=20 frequency=800 amplitude=4096 idfrequency=750 idamplitude=1024 -- Thanks Stan Siems WB0EMJ The difficult we do right away the impossible just takes a little longer and the words it can't be done should never be spoken

Allmon control function *74 question for Tim

Tim, Using Allmon2, In the canned control window you have a function that says "Say time (the TT way)" What does/did that actually do? Since it is defined to use *74 (which is undefined). I was wondering what you had it configured to accomplish when you used it? Did you use it to broadcast the DTMF command to another radio/repeater?. Just curious Larry - N7FM

Short repeat of audio after unkey

Hopefully a simple question, setup a new node today, full duplex repeater, with full duplex in simpleusb.conf set to 1, duplex set to 2 in rpt.conf. 50sec Hangtime and courtesy tone as well. When someone keys up and says 123, Then Unkeys he hears himself say 3. Is this something fixable in software? Incorrect configuration maybe? Allstar Link on a Pi Zero W

A little while back someone on here announced that they had ASL running properly on a Raspberry Pi Zero W. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind coming forward again as this is something I'd really like to try. I'm interested in the specific steps you took, the issues you had, etc. Recently I tried using the apt-get install approach to getting ASL on a Pi Zero W. It seemed to install ok, but I think I must have missed something as I could never get Asterisk to start and run. Thanks, Bill Higgins N0NOE
