Hi Loren! I was recently able to program some of my old Motorola Maxtrac radios from a fairly new and very fast Windows 10 machine using DOSBox. I found the keys to the castle in KK6JYT's online blog post. The first key is to set the cycles in DOSBox to 191. The second thing to do is to use a USB programming cable that has a true FTDI chip in it (at least that's what I used!) It's slow in reading and writing the codeplug but it does work! I've programmed several radios with it now. I would imagine the same setting might work for your CM200 and CM300 radios if their CPS requires DOS. Thanks to KK6JYT for publishing this info. Greetings I use to be able to program my radios with the software i have however for some reason i can no longer do this in Windows 10 and Windows 10 pro anyone have any solutions? I am working on my test bench allstarlink node today..

Hissing noise

Hello all: I just finished building a 900 MHz repeater using a pair of TK-941 radios, I’m using a DMK URi and a Pi3 with the latest version of asterisk when using locally the repeater the audio ie very good, but most of the audio coming from internet linked connections come in with a strong constant hissss noise, in some cases the noise can be weaker or stronger than others but only happend to audio coming into the repeater from the internet. Any ideas what this may be? Thanks N2IX

Stats server update

Hi Everyone, The stats server is running again, as many have noticed. There was a network outage with the hosting provider, earlier. Also, while performing a system check-out, we found that the server is experiencing some periodic overloading issues, due to the constantly increasing number of AllStar users....More users is a good thing!! We've made some minor changes with the stats server software to maximize performance and minimize wasted CPU cycles. As such, there are some minor changes on the main and other web pages. One change is that the global bubble map, which was at the top of the main stats page, had been taken down. That image take a lot of compute time to generate and is now so big that's it's probably not too useful. A server upgrade is now scheduled to better meet the increasing future performance needs. Is either node 42860 or 28781 accessible from other nodes?

Hello, I have the two above nodes, but not sure that they can be accessed from the outside. Have opened up the three ports, but believe my ISP is blocking them further upstream.
