Echolink issues?

So, I maintain node 27597 which is the connection to IRLP reflector 9070. For no apparent reason I am now getting the : "Error in parsing header on nawest.echolink.org" Error. I have the servers set to nawest, nasouth and naeast. Same error on all three servers. Anyone else having problems parsing echolink headers? Thanks in advance. WL7NI Mark

I much prefer SimpleUSB myself, although my nodes all use COR/COS lines and muted filtered audio... Much less PC horsepower required, especially if you're not using the DSP for PL/COR.. I looked in /etc/init.d and didn't have either of these files: 3. delete /etc/init.d/usbradio 4. touch /etc/init.d/simpleusb Just for fun, I created the simpleusb file and restarted Asterisk. I didn't notice any changes.. What do these files in /etc/init.d do? Also, when switching to SimpleUSB, make sure to do simpleusb-tune-menu and check your audio settings. When you (W)rite the parameters, different data files are saved to /etc/asterisk: simpleusb_tune_usb2211.conf rather than usbradio_tune_usb2211.conf 73 Kyle K0KN --- Original Message --- Simpleusb needs a COR and optionally a PL line from your radio. Folks - I have this computer: eBox-3350MX-AP Standard version with Auto Power On and Power Adapter eBox-3350MX PMX-1000 1GHz processor, onboard 512MB DDR2 memory, integrated graphics chip/D-Sub 15-pin, 10/100 Mbps LAN(RJ-45 connector)Built-in PXE diskless boot function, 3x USB ports(2 in the front 1 at the rear) Mic in and Line out, 1x SD slot(bootable but not hot-swappable), Auto Power On Support Power Adapter included. Use with SMART SD Cards: 1SG9SD1, 1GB(SG9SD1GPHC9) or 1SG9SD2, 2GB(SG9SD2GPHCA) I want to build a mobile Allstar server/node for my car using a URI. Eric, Since it will take a SD card, it should be possible. If you're running something at your house and/or you don't care if it goes down while you're at work or on vacation or whatever then you can get away with all sorts of short cuts. But if it's on a hill 3 hours away or one not accessible in the winter I wouldn't do ACID. I know of one system where a fella made a special effort to get ACID running on Debian writing as infrequently as possible to CF media. All of the nodes crapped out within a few years. Limey Linux loads everything into RAM and dismounts the media. No chance of random glitches to the media. It's not that hard to install once you get dd figured out. It runs great. It's the only way to go for remote systems. Oh and, doesn't Linux run for 24 hours a day, not 8? I am using something similar a thin client from HP . I replaced the 1gig flash drive by a 6 gig hd and its working ok.. I even use one of those with dstar.. Donr run limey or pickle acid run like a charm on those .. Unless its not a x86 processor..
