Is there any way to know how long the RTCM has been up since last reboot? I think I'm having random reboots but I'm not 100%. I couldn't find any equivalent of an uptime on the RTCM. Maybe a feature request for a newer version? Alan

How to 'flip' RF nodes via DTMF

Here's a feature I haven't heard anything about yet.. Do you have multiple RF nodes connected to Asterisk, and ever wanted to 'flip' them? For example, you have a VHF and UHF node, and occasionally would like to put the VHF traffic on UHF and vice-versa? I've actually wanted to have this capability before, and it occurred to me tonight how to easily achieve this. Here are the DTMF commands for rpt.conf: 950=cmd,/home/kyle/astflip 0 ; unflip nodes - normal 951=cmd,/home/kyle/astflip 1 ; flipVHF and UHF nodes What needs to happen to completely 'flip' two nodes is incredibly simple, the more I thought about it. Here's a normal node stanza: [2211] rxchannel=SimpleUSB/usb2211 and here's a 'flipped' node stanza: [2211] rxchannel=SimpleUSB/usb2212 All I had to do was to automate the process! There are two copies of rpt.conf. One is the normal setup, and the other has the rxchannels flipped as above. DTMF function KEY - UNKEY

Hi, Is there any way to execute "key up" and "key down" when rpt matches a DTMF tone? Example: [functions] 1,key ; same as "radio key" on cli 2,unkey ; same as "radio unkey" on cli Is this possible ? Thank you.

It reports the wrong callsign. The node connecting or disconnectng from echolink is some off the wall callsign that does not correspond with the node number. But it connects fine. Anyway to detect recent activity

I'd like to make some scripts of mine a little smarter. Is there any way to determine if the node has been active within the last ID timer window of time. E.g. instead of firing a *speak the time at the top of the hour* script, I'd only like to happen if the node is inside the countdown timer for a final ID. This is how most of the configurable external controllers work. Then once the final ID fires, the repeater is quite until activity again, then resumes its scripts, etc until no activity after its final ID time countdown. Just curious if there are any provisions for similar either internal or external (environment variable, polled value from asterisk -rx, etc) Alan
