node registration problems

Still having problems of keep the allstarlink node registered. ECHOLINK is solid through asterisk but allstarlink keeps disconnecting. WHen i do a Iax2 reload this is the error i get.. Hi Jay, I had a similar problem recently. on a repeater that worked perfectly using an older motherboard... ... To check if its the same problem, is the URI green LED flashing at its normal rate, e.g. 3-4 times a second or is it a lot slower? And are you using the current ACID install???? Remote command?

Is there a way to mute the MDC1200? My control codes are working but the MDC is transmitted over the TX path on all linked repeaters. Is it possible to mute this? Quick question, I'm playing with MDC1200 control due to all of the recent posts. I have that part working but here is my issue. I have 4 nodes, 3 of them are connected to radios and one of them is a hub node. The hub node is connected to the internet and is the connection point to the allstar and echolink network. The 3 nodes connected to the radios are on private wireless LAN. I'd "like" to be able to send a command on one of the RF nodes via either MDC1200 or DTMF to say disable incoming connections but that command has to be passed to the "hub" node. Is there a way to properly format a macro to accomplish this or am I stuck with doing *4XXXXX then sending the command? Why an I getting This Response?

When I try to connect to another node, I get this response... Do I have something in my configs that is telling Asterisk to do another command when I input *328454 (which is my other node). MDC1200 Access Control To Repeater

All, In looking at some information on app_rpt it appears that it decodes and encodes MDC1200 just fine. Is anybody using MDC1200 to control access to their repeater in place of CTCSS/DCS? I don't want to lock people out of my repeater, I just want to know who is using it by implementing MDC1200. Ideally they will just fill out a form and it will add it to the database and they can program their radio. Basically, I don't want it to key up the transmitter if it doesn't have a MDC1200 in a list or database. In addition, it would be nice if it silenced the MDC1200 code to the transmitter so that all listening cant hear and decode the MDC1200. Regards, Chris, KC7WSU

URI frustration

I was up late last night still trying to get my tkr-750 working with my URI. Thank you to the guys that sent me wiring info, but i'm still not working right. The audio being transmitted from the repeater sounds like it has AC buzz in it. When I transmit with my portable, the repeater only stays keyed for 5 seconds. Does anybody actually have this working? What should my node stanza in usbradio.conf look like?

Chicken Burst Broken

I’m trying to fix my chicken burst PL shutoff delay. BUT when I run the commands that we bantered around on 24 Dec of 2011, I get the following error. The biggest caution is shown at the very end of this screen shot... My system was just upgraded to the latest version of Asterisk. That’s when my chicken burst quit working. TX Tone Drop out Time

I had my PL tone encoder (node generated) drop out before the carrier dropped out. It seems to have quit working. The PL generator is working fine, but the timing seems to changed. I don’t seem to find the command now. I'm probably not be looking in the right file. Can someone please tell me where that setting is? Thanks! 73 Jim W7RY
