All of the outdoor equipment has been fine for the WISP I work for. Make sure you put the LEDs on the bottom or side. I would recommend the NanoBridge or AirGrid, if possible. (You may need a Rocket link though) They even have some equipment that can work in the amateur spaces (2.3, 3.6, 5.7, maybe others). You have to buy the international models, if you want to use them though. I have checked each of the 3 GM300's I have and each of them goes from 0vdc low (lead open not connected to RTCM) and 13.82vdc HI. This is right off the Accessory plug pin #4. Radio programmed for PL/DPL & CSQ Det. Acid Install issue

I am a noobie with the Allstar System. I had a working copy of Linux Ubuntu on a machine and decided to install the Acid install on it to simplify Allstar setup. I did have Asterisk and all running but just couldn't find the assistance to get the thing working. Anyway, I now have a glitch where the Acid install doesn't see my Wifi card so I assume that there is a driver missing for it. How do I go about installing this driver. Obviously there must be a Linux flavor around as it worked fine with Ubuntu. Out of curiosity, has anyone set up the Allstar on Ubuntu? 73 Floyd WA3LCO wa3lco(a)velocity.net

re asterisk restarting

Anyone know what is going on here? I tried updating from SVN to fix it but it still is borked. Do i have to do a fresh install? No changes to any config files were done before this. It just crapped out today. Allstar Beagleboard w/ LOX and a pickle

Howdy I'm trying to get a previously running node to work. While watching the asterisk -r readout... I try to download the configuration files from the Allstar website and I get this... [May 4 21:46:14] NOTICE[453]: chan_iax2.c:9471 socket_process: Rejected connect attempt from 67.215.233.178, request '0@allstar-sys' does not exist I'm not sure what to do next to fix. Echolink Config

Good day all. I am looking to limit who can connect externally from the outside to our echolink enabled channel on our allstar node. I am using the permit feature in the echolink.conf file. When I exceed about twenty entries, it permits no one it appears. I can remedy to some extent with wildcards. Can I use several permit lines with about ten entries each so that they will concatenate within the echolink channel? I have an ACID node running on a private network. We use MDC for radios ID. Can iaxRpt display the MDC1200 radio ID in the message/status window? If so how do I go about doing it? Thank you for your time, Charles (kc5dgc)

Disconnected of echolink everyday..

My node 27821 is getting disconnected from echolink every day.. I restart the service and all come back. Is there a way to check somewhere why is this happening?

control of the tx tone

Hi! I am using the dsp fonction of the app_rpt as core and tone. And I am using the tone output by the URI to encode my ctcss tone. All is working ok, but I have a few friend that use my repeater with some cross band repeater radio. And they have difficulty cutting in cause they have to wait after the tail and ct. before there cross band repeat radio give them the chance to tx back at the repeater. On my old rc-210 we were able to stop encoding the ctcss tone while the courtesy tone and tail of the repeater..So they were runnign ther xband radio on tone squelch on rx and the tx on there side was fast and sharp. Is there a way to do the same with app_rpt? Pierre VE2PF
