I am running a node on my repeater. Its a new setup using a URI and Dial software. I can call the phone number and get to my node. It will let me talk on the repeater but the only commands I can use is *99 to transmit and *70 for status. I cant connect to another node or any other commands. Coming in on a HT I can only use *70 and no other commands will do anything.I am new at this so any and all help would be great. Chris Viningre 70 W. IAX/Zoiper Audio and Level

Just got things setup so Zoiper works on my node. I can connect and pass voice from PC client and Droid clients - but the audio level from those going out to the Transmitter is low. Is there a way to adjust that? The iPhone client connects but does not yet pass voice... still working on that.

That explains it. I do not know about that version. How/from where is 'sayip.sh' (or equiv) called when a node boots up? I want to change that to something else - no sense telling the world some of my internal network details.

New server not starting asterisk relabily

Hi Testing a newly built Dial allstarlink server / nodes. The server is a HP DC5800 1 gig ram and 4 URI’s. The URI’s where done one at a time, downloading from theallstar web configuration. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it does not, sometimes itstays running after I type asterisk at the # prompt. The log below is some of the output after typing asterisk atthe # prompt then quickly asterisk –rvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv A similar problem that was experienced was due to ACPI. ACPI was disabled in the BIOS GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet" was changed toGRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet acpi=off" However the server would not boot that way. Any help greatly appreciated. Node stays keyed after disconnect

I was wondering if anyone else was having an issue with a node staying keyed after disconnecting from another node. If I key up again, the node will give courtesy tone then drop. If I connect through CLI, it works fine. Running DIAL on RPi. Sincerely, boB - W5EVH

Hi there, I haven¹t commented for a while on this group.. There is another way that we could go forward with the code About 18 months ago, I ported the pre DIAL version of Allstar to the ARCH version of linux as a package using the ARCH package tool called ³paceman².. Have a look at "https://github.com/anthcp?tab=repositories² for examples. My reasoning behind this was to make it easier to use Allstar with a standard linux, without having to install a new linux version every time. As you can see, this was mainly for the odroid and raspberry pi ARM platformsI did actually do an intel version as well. The code worked very well ( all credit to Jim & co) and a 10m repeater was on air for a year using this code What it forced me to do was to create two packages for allstar, one for the kernel (migrating to DAHDI) and the other for the user land code... Anyway, this could be a good way to go in that one could create packages say for kernel based IPv6 code and then make the package install look for these packages and configure accordingly, e.g use a modular packaging approach. So I guess it won't work for this case where the output of the RTCM master transmit heads off to a controller with auto patch. DTMF needs to be sent to the controller to control auto patch. In your pictures you have txmixa set to no and txmixb set to voice. Notice the comment that txmixa is the left channel. set it to voice. Set txmix b to no.
