Allstar keeps dropping connection

I am still getting my feet wet on Allstar and have run into an issue of it resetting the connection or just dropping it. I am using the Web Transceiver but I don’t think that’s the issue since I am watching the server actually drop through an SSH session. Anything to check?

Garmin GPS 18 LVC RTCM wiring

I am now going to solder the Garmin 18x GPS to the DB15 connector for the RTCM. I am a little confused by the labels so is this pinout correct? RTCM --- GPS GRX ----- TXD GPPS ---- GND ------ GND +5V ----- Input Voltage GTX ----- RCV RST ----- Is this correct? SIP CT

I don't think SIP has a CT. Working on a URI-X breakout - what else would you like?

Attached is a circuit design that covers breaking out the URI-X pins, supporting the EEPROM, a COS generator for radios which do not have one OR you don't want to hack the radio. What else might be useful on this board design? When it is 'done' I will have boards made and folks can buy them if desired. Courtesy Tone when SIP connection unkeys

I have a private allstar node set up that allows a SIP connection. No matter what I do I can't seem to get allstar to TX a courtesy tone on the radio when the SIP connection unkeys. I feel like I've done this before but I've set every courtesy tone to a valid tone in rpt.conf and I get CT if the radio unkeys, but not if the SIP connection unkeys. rc.updatenodelist

Greetings!! I found an issue here today with rc.updatenodelist for some reason their was multiple pids with multiple instances of this running on my server so here is what i did to fix this problem. in side /etc/asterisk/ folder i created a directory called scripts Example mkdir scripts then inside this directory i created a script called nodelistupdate.sh Example nano nodelistupdate.sh Once nano has opened up here is what i put inside the script. #!/bin/sh killall /usr/local/bin/rc.updatenodelist sleep 2s killall rc.updatenodelist sleep 4s /usr/local/bin/rc.updatenodelist ## Exit nano by ctrl x and saving changes with a y Next i updated crontab-e to point to my directory and location of my script */30 * * * * sh /etc/asterisk/scripts/nodelistupdate.sh This so far has worked for me and has decreased memory by almost half on my server.. DIAL manual install from Debian

Does anybody have or know where there are scripts to install AllStar from Debian. For a setup for a repeater site am using a server computer with two hard drives in a RAID1 configuration so if one is to fail on this 10 year old machine, it will still work. I was not able to get DIAL installed but was able to get Debian to work. Thanks Skyler KD0WHB

Node Connectivity

I have a server configured running on CentOS, hosting dual nodes. One is a URIx and another is the C108 chipset FOB. Server is online with push from AllstarLink, stats show the nodes up and active, URIx is flashing green, and all looks great. Problem is when I use WebTransceiver to connect to either node, nothing happens like other nodes of automatic connection. Even manually using CONNECT does nothing. I have triple checked all the .conf files and they are good, router is port forwarded. Refreshed from AllStarLink, Rebooted, even gave the server a Public unrestricted WAN address, and same results. Yes I am new to this. Commercial Radio side for 30 plus years. Advanced thanks to all. Chuck KM4NRJ
