HI everyone I will explain to you what we want to do, for you can confirm to us what we need to do please. For our final test to graduate from college, we think to integrate an VoIP system with and RF system, for that, we are setting up an environment with Cisco switches and routers. In this moment we have the PC for Asterisk software acting as a PBX, the idea is register IP Phones, Softphones and in adition connect via URI interface tho the GM300 for calling from the VoIP environment (ip phones and softphones) to the radio stations. So, you tell us about the ACID ISO image, but in the allstar website said we need to register a node, we dont understand that, we only need to setup a server with asterisk for register phone devices and connect trought URI to GM300. I hope yo can understand what we need to do and you can help us a little bit. Even if is necessary we can pay por a service of configuring or explain the procedure to us. Best Regards!!!

So, if the signal has dropped for over 5 second lets say, why would rxondelay play any part again???? Should not this value have to wait until the valid signal is dropped again??? Wiring/Programming for A reverse RF link to a repeater

I have obtained permission from the Rocky Mountain Radio League here in Denver to link an all-star node up to one of their repeaters mountain high. I have a few questions to set up the best link to the nice nice repeaters up there @ 11,500 feet above sea Already Solved Problems { First Concern: Accidentally gets stuck on TX Solution: Use the radios built in TOT Second Concern: Transmitting random stuff that cant be controlled (maybe interference from someone hitting the node) Solution: SSH and disable through the computer } My Questions { FULL DUPLEX??? So with one radio I could have it TX and RX on separate frequencies. This would Be a nice SIMPLEX link. I would not need full duplex because it would just be doubling with the repeaters other people inputs making it yeah... BUT... What about the hang time? Yes, the RMRL repeaters have Very Very long tails, so I have asked them to turn off the TX tone right away, and they will do that so I don't have to get their tone and their little courtesy tone. So should I spend the extra work of getting a Duplexer or Diplexer or band reject or band pass filter (whichever one, IDK) WITH another radio or would it work just as well with a SimpleSimplexSetup. Now to the software part, which I hope you guys will help with. 1) I probably want to disable courtesy tones| Easy, just in the Conf file comment it out 2) Station ID in morse Now this is my question because I don't want to break the law by not doing morse code, but I don't want to annoy everybody by having the code in the repeater on the mountain as well as in the radio, because that would be a lot of stuff going on. Maybe... Could I make it so there is no TONE transmitted when it does the CW ID? So it is just a "LOCAL" Identification } { Thanks for any help anyone, it is all appreciated. Sorry for all the people who are not fans of using the input frequency to InternetLink, it works Great for the other repeaters that do it, nothing bad has happened for the year I have been a ham. temporarily disable echolink

Is there a way to change my configuration the same way unticking the echolink enable in the web portal configuration and sending in the server? Would I have to rename the echolink.conf file or is there an easier one place value? Thanks

Server Config is Blank

Good Evening I have installed the server and set up and had a node configured on the online portal, however when I run "nodesetup.sh" on the server I get past the login prompt, confirm the server and then the downloads starts. However it ends with the error Failed to download and unpack configuration files Allstar Link Portal Config Download Failed.. exiting I have tried to walk through each line and as far as I can see the file it downloads is empty, I have tried to download it manually but the tar is empty and has a file sizes of 0 bytes. I was just getting ready to begin construction of a Beaglebone Black node when I ran across my old Beagleboard xm / LOX parts and pieces. Since the Beagle / LOX was once nearly operational when I put the project away, I thought I might get it going first. I know the LOX is no longer in production and the old Pickle site appears to be dead as well. I can’t find any of my previous documentation on setup except for the LOX data sheet. Does anyone have a copy of the setup and testing commands (or other Pickle/LOX/Pico Node info) they might share? I’m finding bits and pieces in the app_rpt archives, but it’s mighty slow-going.
