I'm interested in purchasing one of these, but had some questions before I do. - Are they still being produced? I still see them for sale on the Micro-Node website but just want to be sure - My intent is to run this simplex (no voting) mode. I see the RTCM communicates to the server via ethernet which is really nice... I would love to virtualize my server and take this power hungry P4 I'm using now offline. Is that my assumption as to how that works? No physical connection to the server, like as in the case of the URI for example? - Anyone done a setup like I've described above? Had any issues? I will be running the server virtualized on an Vmware ESXI 5 server tnx Stephen K1LNX

Hi, I sponsor an Echolink node at my QTH which is running on a Windoz PC using a Motorola radio setup to TX on the repeater input and listens to the output. I tried my IRLP/echolink node but they have a 2 sec squelch tail and I had trouble with pulse back. Is there a way or a parameter that can be set to ignore COS for 2 sec after TX? I think that would work but I'm not sure if this is possible with Allstar. Thanks, 73 Greg KD3SU

OK so I found the offending IP address out of South Brisdane, Queensland. They are just going thru 4 digit extensions one by one, they file is quite large. What should I do next? Block the IP and report it? Transmit Beeps and ID's without PL tones

This tells asterisk to ignore a receive signal when first detected for x amount of time. You have 75 multiples of 20ms which is 1500ms or 1.5 seconds. Try a value of 10 or so which would be closer to 1/4 of a second. Sent from Droid mobile
