Hi, So I'm looking at setting up streaming for my node. I downloaded libshout (both 2.2.2 and 2.3.1), and also ezstreamer, but ezstreamer gives the problem with lib shout not being found, even though it is, mentioned somewhere in the archive. Unfortunately, the link to the acid-stream.tar.gz tut's mentioned in a long-ago archive is no longer valid. Anyone got this, or at least the doit.sh script? 2 USB Fob issue!

Greetings, I have a strange problem. I am going to discuss the problem then I am going to tell what I have done to fix it. Right now I am running 2 USB CM108 Fobs. Fob 1 (repeater) is on my 27539 repeater. Fob 2 (weather radio) is on 27540. Also I am running IAXRPT on 27541. Now here is the problem. When fob 2 is rxing. I can here that rx on all the tx lines going out. So the output to the repeater radio can hear fob two. 27541 can also hear fob two receiver. There is what I have done to try and fix this. I have moved fob1 to another usb port. Same result. Also moved the fob2 to another set of usb ports on the motherboard. But I did notice something. If the usb fob is not linked in asterisk is not heard anywhere. But once I have simpleusb-tune-menu place the usb fob on a port, I can hear it everywhere. Any ideas? I would really like to run 3 fobs. But if I can not get 2 fobs to work I am stuck. Ryan KB8PMY

Dump all linked nodes to a file for live update

Is there a way to dump all the node numbers currently connected to a system and their nodes to a text file? I would like to process the file to update the live status on a website of my HUB node. Almost like the AllStar status but shows ALL the nodes that are linked. I know in the cli I can issue a "rpt nodes <local node>" and will show all the linked nodes but how can I get it to a file? thanx -- boB - W5EVH

If anyone is using a Zxeyl DSL modem don't use the routing functions.. Bridge it and use a different router.. I had the same problem and swapped several modems out from the DSL company and still same out come. Once i bridged the modem and put a router in line it works 24/7 with no problem.. app_rpt svn - The Long version of my insanity

Hi All, A while ago, I was messing around flashing different firmware images on a Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 access point so I could extend the range a bit. While on that adventure, I noticed a few guys were making hardware modifications to expand their capability. Well, that sounded fun, so I proceeded to add an SD Card socket, 2 Serial Ports and 2 USB ports to that little guy. (Kismet etc. fun... the white hat version of course :-)) After playing around with that for a while, I kept thinking that the WRT54GL might be a candidate for that mobile allstar micro node I’ve been wanting to build. I already had the URIx from DMK and I heard some guys were running Asterisk on these things. The WRT54GL runs on 12vdc, has wireless 802.11b/g and by using my Verizon UML290 on one of the USB ports, it could act as a portable hotspot/unix host. The SD card gives me plenty of room to install Asterisk so being this close already, I decided to give the allstar node a try. I realize that the WRT54GL is at or slightly below the minimum hardware requirements, but it might be just enough to work as a simplex node so here is where I’m at….. 16 Megs of RAM Openwrt Backfire 10.03.1, r29592 2 Gig SD Card ext3 mounted as rootfs 2 Serial ports – 1 for console and the other for GPS 2 USB v1.1 ports – Yeah I know….just maybe though UML290 3g/4g model on 1 USB port - working URIx on the other USB - recognized as sound card Separate 1500 mw regulated 5vdc supply for the MAX 233 ttl to Serial and USB ports Wouxun KG-UV3D - via a URI cable for testing - not tested yet I have the Openwrt buildroot environment setup on another Linux box (Fedora 16 VM)so I can build images and cross compile packages that will run on the Broadcom Chipset. I have the tonezone module compiled and running already but I am still working to get the zaptel kernel module to compile cleanly and then I can work on app_rpt (The Openwrt Astreisk distro doesn't have it). I noticed that the svn code for ACID Linux (Thanks Alan for pointing me in that direction) is optimized for uClibc and so is Openwrt. I’ll see if I can add that as a custom feed and compile it under the buildroot. I’m pretty rusty at this, but it is starting to slowly come back. I know this sounds insane, but I’m having a whole lot of fun with my insanity  Any pointers will be greatly appreciated!!! Hi All, First, I'd like to apologize in advance for being a nooby here, but I guess we all start out that way :-) My question is...where can I find the latest version of app_rpt from svn? The link on the "Manual Configure Support Page" is not working and I'm not finding much via web searches. I need to cross compile it to run on an embedded system project I am working on.
