Error mpg123 etc.

This is my experience of the error and how I cured it. I found that after making a change and downloading the server configuration I would get the error. Over-writing my [ rpt.conf ] with one from a known working configuration cured it. Changes I made to the server configuration was to add/remove Echolink connectivity. I also found that by including another node the error appeared. This was due to the downloaded [rpt.conf] file not having the second node stanza inserted after the [ ;***Status Reporting *** ] portion of [ rpt.conf ] Manually setting [ rpt.conf ] with the two node stanzas first then followed by [morse] [schedule] [functions] etc cured it. I'm new to this so if this is already known apologies for repeating it.. Ian.. 28818 28934

DTMF Commands not processed?

Should i be able to see dtmf digits received by a URI device in the CLI? I'm having trouble getting app_rpt to respond to commands over the air? I only see carrier detect related messages with asterisk -rvvvvvvvvv when i key a radio. basic testing of a new system?

I setup a ACID box with a URIx. I've cabled it to a HT for now to test with and can key the radio and send test audio per the FAQ. For now, i don't plan to tie in with the Allstar network. I would like to do some additional testing to see the capabilities with interfacing with the PSTN which i have another working Asterisk box going. While there is a lot written about app_rpt, i don't see more of the instructions to do various operations. Is there a reference for other basic tests i can do to exercise the system? thanks

Telephone Dial

Hello, I was using my node connected to a node in Chicago and it works great. But I noticed today a "dial tone" come out of nowhere for abot 15 seconds, then disappear. I don't have a telephone portal setup yet, but this is the first time I ever hear that. Any clues?

Telephone Portal Busy Signal

Morning, I've done some searching but haven't come up with anything on either telephone portal or busy signal. It worked at one point in time recently, but I now receive a busy signal after 5 seconds or so , past the "please wait..." when dialing to my node (27709). I've made sure the router at the repeater site isn't an issue. I'm wondering if there's a file that's somewhere which is used to lock the station to prevent multiple connects, that I have to flush? I tried to push the configuration from the portal back to the node, just in case I had changed the "telephone users allowed" option and not done that, but, nothing happened. Manually grabbing from the portal seemed to erase my echolink configuration file (no idea where it went). Unsure what's missing, I don't get any response from the asterisk console when I try to dial to that node, so I'm not sure if there's a debug or record that goes with the call attempt from the phone portal.
