Slow green led flashing on uri?

Hi all, Tried to make a backup of an allstar server onto a new i3 Asus mobo. Loaded acid install and works apart from onboard netcard which was fixed by a new driver. However with the backup config files loaded all we get is hum when we plugged on the repeater uri. We thought it was a ground loop problem untill after a reboot it all worked, audio on the repeater was fine!!! On reboot we were back to hum... Someone then noticed the uri green led was flashing slower than when it was working ok...any ideas???? Regards VK2ACP

pickle problem after upgrade

Upgraded pickle last night, got this message repeating then asterisk dies off, went back to old sources, same thing. My brain is way too foggy with family issues here, can someone point to what I may have wrong, I just can't think too clearly. One of the cool things about Limey Linux is that it runs 100% in RAM. So you can make changes to your config files and then restart asterisk to reload. If the changes work as expected you can then svcfg. If the changes didn't work and you really screw things up you can reboot the machine and your previous configuration will be back. In Limey Linux you restart asterisk with the command "killall asterisk". Because there a daemon that is always checking to see if asterisk is up, it will automatically restart after you kill it. In cases other than AllStar, I have seen situations where the IP address changes (due to dynamic/dhcp re-assignment) and the site LAN device(s) continue to ARP CACHE the old IP-to-MAC address pair. While AllStar uses periodic IAX registrations to keep the ALlStar 'network' aligned, these re-registrations would have zero affect on local ARP CACHE entries (and their timeout), if ARP CACHE is your issue. You need the commands to display the ARP table on EACH and ALL of the devices on your LAN path between the node and the internet, as well as on the Linux node host itself. Linux command, # arp -v As a shot in the dark, you may want to confirm that your wireless router's firmware is the most up to date there is. Cycling the interface can clear the ARP Entries. you can DOWN the interface, pause, and UP the interface. Don't DOWN a REMOTE interface you're doing the remote connection through. You need a small script to down, sleep, and up that'll run in the background (&) so when you get disconnected, you can re-connect when the script UPs the interface. Again, I don't know if this is your issue, but I have seen ARP tables MIS-matches cause these types of issues. This is usually an ISP issue. Happens to me all the time with my crummy cable ISP. Usually have to restart the cable modem and router to get it playing nice again. DMZ or not, your router or the remote router could be blocking traffic. What is wrong with my node?

Why is this happening? See below..... The internet is working just fine from the site. I logged into the node and the router remotely at the moment. The node repeater is in the DMZ. I can ping google.com so the DNS is working. This node not being able to re-connect or connect is really not cool! What is going on here? Thanks! It works on Limey Linux. We're using it in a number of nodes. Hello all. Does anyone know what the parallel port is called in dev folder in limey linux if its even available? Im trying to use my parallel port for keying and COR for my radio. Thanks Harold
