Finally, GPIO signals on a USB device!!!

After seeing much enthusiasm regarding getting access to GPIO pins on the URI/USB devices, I gave some thought to what would be the best and most efficient way to implement it, and came up with the following: http://app-rpt.qrvc.com/node/177 "Manipulating GPIO signals within chan_usbradio and chan_simpleusb" see also: http://app-rpt.qrvc.com/node/176 "Event Management Subsystem" The bad news is that I discovered (after much head pounding) that on the CM108AH chips, they removed GPIO 2, making only 2 GPIO pins available. That is not a positive thing, as far as I am concerned. Oh well, I guess 2 is better then 0. JIM WB6NIL

How fast a pc needed for hub node?

Hi all, What minimum speed PC would be ok for a hub node.? This box will not have any radio interface, just a routing server connected to internet. wondering if I can use one of my old IRLP boxes that is a P3 800 Meg. Thanks, Jon VA3RQ

All, I have uploaded v0.94 of NodeShark which fixes a "Nil object exception" that crashes the app when the user attempts to play a playlist item and they haven't put a trailing "\" in their Target path specification. This fix makes the trailing "\" optional (it'll work either way now). Also combed through the source code and added a few other missing checks for nil pointers prior to dereferencing. Ok fair enough. What might be a good suggestion for a low power solution? Something in the mini atx platform? Node Shark help please
