IRLP nodes not updating and may stop working

According to the IRLP folks there has been a recent update. Seems that some nodes didn't take the update. I see that all my Chan-IRLP nodes are on the list of nodes that aren't updated correctly. I also see other know chan_IRLP nodes are also on the list. Dave Cameron is saying that the nodes will stop if the updates aren't done Perhaps the chan_IRLP group could look at the updates and see if they need to be modified for chan_IRLP? Or will it be ok to go an update with out any issues? I know some scripts were modified and are not updated for that reason. The list of nodes flagged can be found on the IRLP yahoo group. my node seems to have stopped accepting echo link connects - giving the un -authorized message, no matter how long the e/l station as been logged onto the network The message that appears on the console is: [Oct 18 12:51:24] ERROR[2620]: chan_echolink.c:2185 do_new_call: Cannot find DB entry for a/ipaddr/77.43.22.231 I note that astdb is about 17.4 MB in size - is this reasonable? If not, is there a way to shrink/reset safely? Ken

Possible bug?

Have had a weird thing lately where the DMK interface locks up and the green light stops flashing. Restarting Asterisk doesn't help. After a restart I get this. I have added the ability to "pulse" (that is, invert its current state for a period of time) a GPIO output for a specifed amount of time. See additional docs at: http://app-rpt.qrvc.com/nodes/177 JIM

FS: Quad PCI, Hamtronics 2M

I have a Quad PCI board for sale, purchased around Jan 2009. Local repeater project moving in other directions. Fully working and lightly used. Asking $450 OBO. Also have a Hamtronics 2M repeater purchased around the same time. Includes REP-200 chassis, RX module, TX module, and 2M 20W PA. TX/RX modules are DIP switch frequency controlled. TX module PA transistor was replaced during winter of 2009 due to locked TX. Working normally last time it was powered up and tested. All other modules (including 20W PA module) were unaffected. Asking $550 + shipping OBO (price reflects only value of chassis, RX, and PA since the TX module *was* damaged, though repaired). Contact off-list no3m at no3m.net 73 - Eric NO3M

As I stated in the past, your login is root and your password is whatever you made it during the install process. This seperate from the portal login. ACID Install with USB Thumb Drive vs CD-ROM

Just wondering if it was possible to do a acid install without a CD-ROM Drive? I tried uunetbootin but it gives me that it can't find the kickstart file. I figure it's the difference in file systems for the install. I haven't played around with linux for a while but could eventually get it to work the more I played with it bu just didn't want to reinvent the wheel. I have tons of usb thumb drives but limited access to a usb cd-rom (have to borrow from a friend). Thanks! Keith Dobbins A.S.
