My experience is exactly what Jim suggests, it kills the Zaptel modules. With the ACID distro what I end up doing is a complete update of the OS then I do a complete update and recompile of the SVN. Basically you: 1) Do all of your OS updates using yum. (Or, I use the tool in Webmin). 2) Update the ACID SVN using these steps: cd /usr/src rm -rf astsrc wget http://x.allstarlink.org/svn-trunk.tar.gz -O- | tar xzv mv trunk astsrc cd astsrc make upgrade-acid 3) Finally update Zaptel with these steps: cd /usr/src/astsrc/zaptel ./configure make make install make config modprobe zaptel service zaptel start service asterisk restart I have no idea if this is the "right" way to do all this. But I do know that it's working for me. Transmitting Tone Sequences COP 48 No longer working

I had this feature setup a few months ago and everything seemed to work ok. I tried it today and it is no longer working. Where can I investigate the error log files to see what may have happened ? I use it to page a Motorola portable radio using Quick Call Paging. 887=cop,48,!2688.0/1000,!1130.5/3000 ; Send two tone paging sequence When I enter the code to transmit the signal, there is no tones produced. I have tried it with different radios as well as via the iaxRpt program. Transmit Sequence of tones when all stations are disconnected

Hi, I posted it a while back, I just want to know if it is possible, because I am really in need of this for my node. I really need to transmit a sequence of DTMF tones when a link disconnects, but *ONLY *when *all* links disconnect. So if *two *links are connected, and one link disconnects, there will be still one node to the server, thus it shall not transmit any tones. *When *the second node disconnects, there will be *Zero* nodes left, therefore, it will need to transmit the sequence. Repost: Event Handler Regex Issue

Apologies for the repost, but I'm stuck here and hoping that someone who missed the original post will chime in: Seems to be an issue with regex processing within the event handler. I am attempting to set a variable called NODE to true based upon the value of the calling node number. I used the sample code found on the Event Management System Drupal page at <http://ohnosec.org/drupal/node/176.> http://ohnosec.org/drupal/node/176. It fails, throwing a warning as follows if the RPT_LINKS variable contains a "-" character, as in K2DLS-P or any other phone connection: ast_expr2.y:742 op_minus: non-numeric argument Any solutions or suggestions? OK found the problem. I did not check the nodes just the servers. Turns out he has both the nodes on one server and none on the other. I will move them. Strange server problem

I am trying to help a friend with a node setup. He needs to use a different iax port as it is a second node. I have been on allstarlink.org logged into his account and the iax port is definitely set to 4568 and submitted but the nodes list comes down with 4569. Odd CTCSS behavior on RTCM

Running version 1.41 . Have 2 rtcms connected to mtr2000 , thunderbolt gps , pretty standard setup. My simulcast is working great, however I can't get ct decode to work properly. It's either in carrier mode or it doesn't work . Odd things happen when I put what I assume is the correct settings in the ct and for config on the rtcm. The rx light flashes and sometimes let's a signal thru , but my repeater sorta goes flaky like the rtcm is pulling the line down and flaking it out. The voltage pulsates on the CTCSS line and the repeater receiver light goes out when it is actually receiving a signal. Very odd . Is 1.41 the best version? Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?? I'm using the rdstat2 pin on the MTR for CTCSS decode and it reads 5 volts when receiving a valid pl . Thanks in advance N3FYI -- Sent from My iPad
