I am getting a lot of TT falsing on my node. >From time to time we have had similar problems here. I think everyone does. Fortunately it is only occasionally. If you archive using Allstar the files are time and date stamped. All you need to know is an approximate time and you could find it. If it is something you want to forward to the FCC or some other agency they don't want to see text they want to hear the audio. Most "sysops" make a big deal out of this because they think it is their tail that is going to get cited. I don't know of one case where that has actually happened. Actually in a multi-node connected system they would have no idea where the offense actually came from but someone on the network should know and be documenting it. As long as you report a particularly egregious offense I would say you are off the hook. It also helps to not acknowledge the offense. Just go on with normal activity. Hey I was wondering has anyone ever done Audio to text for allstar node? I would like to have some thing like this put together on my repeater where it takes the recorded audio all together and transcribes it into text for each day than logs it.. Anythoughts? Audio to text how to load customized modules into rpt.conf

Hey everyone I found this article on sphinx and figured this would be a great tool to use to put audio into text format for review along side some of the recorded archives on my data center hub this would be easy to sort out things such as in appropriate comments and deal with them accordingly if there ever was an issue.. It also could help us with transcripts later my thoughts where would it be easier to take the already made individual audio files and have sphinx put them to text after the audio is recorded or is it possible to rip it off the system live and yet maintain a high level of accuracy .. Has anyone ever attempted to do some thing like this? If you have carrierfrom=usb then you should see the hungup status in the client when you ground pin 8. If you are not you possibly could possibly have a bad DMK-URI. Make sure you are using pin 8 on the DMK-URI NOT pin 7. Some questions

Ordered the DMK URI (expected delivery MONDAY!) I think I got the grasp of most of the stuff. But my 2 questions 1st. CT (courtesy tones) I want CT to reflect where the signal came from. however I don't want them changing due to link state. ie RF is ALWAYS my nextel chirp. anything coming in from echolink is always my dit dit. and say anything coming in from an allstar connection would have say a 3tone up. anyway to define this? all I can find is about the ct changing depending on link state. 2nd. transmitted ctcss, I have a tone enc in the GE. however my enc drops after the ct, and the rest of the tx hang is non-pl'ed (cor drops -> 500ms to ct -> 250ms TX CTCSS drops -> 2500ms ptt drops) Is there any way to set this to where I can define when enc drops? Id like to use a pin on the URI so I can use my internal encoder. thanks.
